Vice President, Advanced Systems (Business Capture)- Quantum Sensing Solutions

In this role you drive the Advanced Systems capture function for Infleqtion's Quantum Sensing Solutions. You will build and lead a high-performing AS capture team, govern the capture operating model, and oversee the gated capture process from opportunity qualification through contract award. You'll shape pursuit strategy, customer engagement, and teaming to maximize win probability, while ensuring smooth handoffs to program execution. This position offers visibility to senior leadership and a chance to scale a leading quantum technology portfolio across national security, civil, and select commercial markets.

• Lead the AS capture function and governance across the QSS lifecycle
• Build and manage the Advanced Systems Manager (ASM) capture team
• Define and enforce the capture operating model, roles, gate criteria, artifacts, and handoff expectations
• Lead or oversee capture strategy development including win themes, discriminators, customer engagement, competitive assessment, and pricing posture
• Support bid/no-bid, ROM, proposal, and investment decisions within authority
• Ensure awarded programs begin with validated baselines across technical, cost, schedule, staffing, suppliers, and customers
• Shape opportunity priorities, teaming strategies, and major subcontractor plans with BA VPs
• Align proposal elements with capture strategy and risk posture
• Support customer negotiations and final proposal revisions through award
• Maintain a collaborative interface with enterprise BD and ensure smooth BD-to-capture-to-execution transitions
• Lead executive-level proposal reviews for strategic opportunities and represent QSS capture posture in executive forums
• Acquire, cultivate, and manage ASM capture management talent
• Oversee capture portfolio operations and maintain the QSS capture-phase opportunity database
• Develop and maintain the monthly QSS capture-phase forecast in partnership with key stakeholders
• Define data structures, reporting cadence, data quality, and integration with BD and execution portfolios
• Track capture budgets, risks, win probability, milestones, and decision points across the capture portfolio

• 15+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, intelligence, national security, advanced technology, or related markets
• Significant experience in capture leadership, program development, business growth, or program execution
• Experience managing cross-functional pursuit teams and capture professionals
• Strong understanding of U.S. government acquisition processes, contracting vehicles, and proposal development
• Proven ability to collaborate across BD, Engineering, Program Execution, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Supply Chain, and leadership
• Demonstrated ability to balance competitiveness with execution realism across cost, schedule, technical, and resource risk
• Strong executive communication skills for briefings to senior leaders, customers, partners, and Board-level stakeholders
• Experience in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments with process discipline and hands-on leadership
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
